Public Relations Specialist
 
Perform social media and related public relations and communications functions for a multicultural public relations agency focusing on the millennial Hispanic market, including responsibility for the creation and development of public relations materials and related social media content and electronic press kits (EPK) for entertainment and media companies; the creation of daily social media messaging for company and client platforms; the creation of weekly client reports regarding press and media hits; the creation of weekly pitch and press outreach content and proposals; the creation of competitive music and entertainment industry reports; and the provision of support regarding event coordination, report compilation and other public relations/marketing-related activities as required.
 
Either a U.S. or foreign Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in film and television studies or a related entertainment or media discipline, and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a public relations or marketing assistant capacity entailing responsibility for social media and related public relations and communications functions for an entertainment and/or media company focusing on the Hispanic market; or 2 years of college-level study in film and television studies or a related entertainment or media discipline, including coursework in social media and web analytics or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a public relations or marketing assistant capacity entailing responsibility for social media and related public relations and communications functions for an entertainment and/or media company focusing on the Hispanic market.
 
$40,000 per year.
